*Licensed only in PA, VA | Practicing strictly from PA

Kelley Keller is an associate in the firm's Trademark, Advertising, and Anti-Counterfeiting Practice, with a practice focused on domestic and international trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management for clients in a wide variety of industries. She counsels clients on the use and registration of trademarks in the United States and abroad, including best practices for the selection, adoption, maintenance, and enforcement of trademarks, service marks, and other forms of trade identity. Kelley conducts due diligence reviews of intellectual property assets, provides counseling on a variety of transactional matters, works with clients on brand expansion and management, domain name monitoring and disputes, as well as copyright protection. With more than 10 years of experience in trademark law specifically, she is well-versed in all aspects of the trademark life cycle.

Kelley has nearly two decades of experience working in the intellectual property law field. Most recently, Kelley managed her own law practice where she represented primarily start-up and small businesses on a wide range of intellectual property and related business matters, with an emphasis on trademarks, copyrights, and issues relevant to digital entrepreneurs. She worked closely with her clients on the selection and adoption of strong marks and the creation and enforcement of effective branding strategies. During her tenure as a solo practitioner, Kelley became well-known for her personable nature and ability to explain complex legal issues in simple terms, something her clients value highly.

While in law school and immediately after, Kelley worked as a Student Associate and Trademark Associate for two large Washington, D.C. intellectual property firms. During this time, she gained broad experience assisting companies doing business at home and abroad and international companies entering the U.S. market in protecting their intellectual property assets.
Prior to law school, Kelley was Director of Continuing Legal Education and International Programs with the National Intellectual Property Law Institute, a former non-profit organization in Washington, D.C. In this role, she traveled with the organization to nearly two dozen countries working with the United States embassy, foreign embassies, and high level government, academic, industry, and judicial personnel around the world on issues related to intellectual property and its relationship to the global trading environment. She also visited numerous research laboratories throughout the country and gained a clear understanding of the technology transfer process from government and university laboratories to the private sector.

A frequent lecturer on intellectual property issues to entrepreneurs, business executives, and other attorneys, Kelley is an Expert Resource Vistage International speaker and a member of the American Bar Association and American Intellectual Property Law Association.

Kelley is admitted to practice only in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
