USPTO Post-Grant Patent Trials 2016 – San Francisco

On March 31, 2016, Robert Greene Sterne and Michelle K. Holoubek will be speaking at the Practising Law Institute's (PLI) USPTO Post-Grant Patent Trials 2016 conference. The event brings together expert faculty, including PTAB and U.S. District Court Judges, to discuss best-practices for post-grant proceedings.
Mr. Sterne, who is a co-chair of the event, will moderate two panel discussions. In the morning, Mr. Sterne will facilitate discussion of the panelists for, "The Busiest Patent Court in the U.S. – The USPTO's Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB)," and in the afternoon, he will moderate the panel, "End Game: The Oral Hearing, Final Written Decision, Rehearing and Appeals to the CAFC."
Ms. Holoubek will participate on the panel, "Launching, Conducting & Defending Against the Attack: PTAB Petition, Pre-Trial Phase, and Trial Institution," highlighting preliminary proceedings, a critical component of the PTAB challenge.
