On January 24, 2013, Glenmark Generics Ltd. filed a complaint against GlaxoSmithKline PLC (GSK) in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware (Glenmark Generics Ltd. et al. v. GlaxoSmithKline PLC et al.). Glenmark's suit seeks to invalidate two GSK patents that cover Bactroban antibiotic creams (U.S. patent nos. 6,025,389 and 5,569,672).  The suit also asks the district court to confirm that Glenmark’s generic Bactroban product does not infringe the two GSK patents.
