Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox is pleased to formally announce its Patent Office Litigation practice. The America Invents Act of 2011 (AIA) ushered in a variety of new ways to challenge or strengthen patents at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Together with the pre-AIA proceedings, Patent Office Litigation now includes: Inter Partes Review, Post Grant Review, Covered Business Method Patent Review, Derivations, Interferences, and Patent Reexamination. Sterne Kessler's Patent Office Litigation practice is designed to help entities navigate this new patent landscape.

Post-AIA, Sterne Kessler has placed a great deal of effort in establishing a leadership position in Patent Office Litigation.  Currently, Sterne Kessler ranks first in the number of inter partes reviews being handled (27) and first in the number of instituted inter partes review trial proceedings (six).
