Sterne Kessler Named to NLJ's 2013 Intellectual Property Hot List
- The National Law Journal
The National Law Journal has once again named Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox to its annual Intellectual Property Hot List, which recognizes the top 20 firms that have “demonstrated creative formidable talent in litigation, patent prosecution, and deal making."
The NLJ commends Sterne Kessler's dedication to educating clients following the passage of the America Invents Act in September 2011. Managing Director Michael B. Ray is quoted saying, "It wasn't just business as usual. We needed to help our clients deal with the new law and, clearly, there was a lot of work to be done."
The feature highlights our leadership position in patent office litigation proceedings – at publication time, Sterne Kessler ranks first for the number of inter partes review representations before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and first in the number of instituted proceedings. The firm is also recognized for our patent litigation success, design patent prosecution, and our human rights pro bono practice.
